News for March 17th, 2008
We got to see Spiderwich Chronicles and it wasn't bad. It was not great either. The lead kid, Freddie Highmore, seemed to not really be with it. I realize he was playing both parts and doing a scene with an imaginary person is hard, but there were time when it just didn't click when it was just one brother and somebody else. Ah well, still worth seeing in the theater for the big mean creatures.
I've always found it amusing that when Disney created a film based on one of their world famous rides that they chose Eddie Murphy, who did a stand up (foul language) piece on a haunted house, to be the star of the film. I've wondered if it was because of this or just another cosmic coincidence.
My mom was here this last weekend and we had a great time. Ninja's mom is going to be here next weekend and I'm sure we're gonna have fun then too. I don't have too much else going on but, you all have a terrific St Patrick's Day. See ya after Easter!

Jaeger: The house was like any other house...
Ninja Comic: Yeah, if all the other houses are haunted, possessed, or based on amusement park rides.
Nitui: How did Eddie Murphy say it?
Ninja Comic: We ain't got nothing to worry...I really love...this place is really nice...
Clockwork: GET OUT!
Ninja Comic: Too bad we can't stay, baby.
Nitui: My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die.
Ninja Comic: I've heard of sibling rivalry, but this is ridiculous.
Nitui: So, what did you think?
Ninja Comic: The creatures were awesome but the little kid seemed really fake.
Nitui: Because he was done with bad CGI and cartoony special effects?
Ninja Comic: No, his acting.
