News for June 11th, 2007

Yes, we did see it.  No, we were not accosted by "Fraternity Ninjas."  How was the movie?  Guess you will need to read the review.  I just wish Jerry Bruckheimer would put some time into making a Ninja movie.  Scratch that, he doesn't understand the meaning of stealth.  Ninjas plus fireball explosions just don't mesh well.  I know, in my head* I have heard the arguments about a lack of good Ninja movies in the past few.  Enough of that, remember Batman Begins! Batman is now a Ninja.  And yes he did defeat all the other Ninjas in the film, but that is all in accordance with the Transitive Power of Combatants Axiom. After seeing pirates on every last item for sale at the Quickie Mart, I am glad that the movie is out and we can now relax.  So, no more pirates.  'K? Thanks.

In other news, we had a good time playing D&D a bit ago, so it looks like we will be spending more time on that.  Curse you Loch, you have made me lose sleep.  See, I came up with a D&D campaign idea, and now the story is stuck in my head and demands to be turned into playable form.  I don't know about you folks, but I have limited space in my skull and this is very distracting.  How will I ever write the comic still?

No other special projects are storming on the horizon, so I guess things are calming down a bit.  See ya in City of Heroes and Villains next week for the double experience weekend!

*In my head = some fictitious person I am discussing things with.  You all have that voice that tells you things or plays devil's advocate while you think things over.  I just give the voice credit or allow it to wander in my cat. He's good at it, since cats look at us like we are idiots anyway.

Ninja said it. See ya Friday!

Script for June 11th, 2007

Nitui: I wouldn't say I liked it. It was definitely better then part 2.

Ninja Comic: Oh yeah, way better then 2, it had an ending.

Minion 01: WELL NOW TRAITOR!

Minion 02 : Yeah traitor, we never thought we would see you at a pirate movie.

Ninja Comic: Hey, we saw the first two and just wanted to see how it ended. It's not like I liked the movie. Are we going to have to come to blows to satisfy honor?

Minion 03: Nah, we we're just messing with ya. We saw it too.

Minions: Yo ho, yo ho, the pirates life for me!
