News for February 24th, 2006

After this strip and the one from January, I think we get the idea that the sewers are a bad place.

In other news, we have a new stove.  The state refund has provided for us a new glass top range that is gleaming white and makes the rest of the kitchen look dirty.  For its first use, I completely failed to make a proper steak on itl.  Cleaning is going to be different, since it uses a special scrubby thing and I don't know how to work it at all yet.

I have something I would like to say about this years Olympics.  I generally don't watch television, but where I work there are multiple TVs going in every part of the building.  One or more TVs has been set to the Olympics since they started.

First I must point out that almost every time I looked over at a TV it had Curling on it.

Second, what is this useless sport?  It's Olympic level shuffle board on ice.  It was boring and they were cheating by sliding ahead and "cleaning" the ice with little brooms.  It should be renamed "Foolish looking people with big heavy things sliding on ice."  I am certain their are huge groups of fans and such out there and of course I wouldn't understand it since I am (insert euphemism for ignorance here) and uncultured.  Maybe so, but if I have to watch these finely honed athletes again, I may have to start yelling at the sheep that are watching it.

Not much else going on this week.  Hope you all have a fun weekend.

Well the end of another week! I met with the website guy and everything is a go. I'm actually really looking forward to this project. Learn a little something new but actually get paid decently. Yeeeeeaaaa Pay Check! Plus this guy seems very professional…not like some bosses I've had in the past. The meeting with the lawyer is rescheduled for the first. Hopefully he can give me all those mad hook ups!

So, my Dad and I are embarking on a challenge who can loose the most weight ( % wise). In about two weeks I'll be flying out to see him and then he'll be flying back with me. We're gonna spend the first two weeks getting our butt kicked and learning how to cook in a healthy manner together. Don't worry the comics won't be delayed but you guys have to keep Ninja company in the forums while I'm gone. So, for now I'll see ya all Monday!

Script for February 24th, 2006

Rats:    KRO-GAR, where's your cape?

KRO-GAR:    KRO-GAR's cape fell off.

Rats:    Well, why didn't you pick it up?

KRO-GAR:    KRO-GAR dropped it in sewer.

Rats:    Yeah, I'd probably leave it too.

KRO-GAR:    Like Rats' cell phone that one time at Pizza Shack?

Rats:    Ok.

Rats:    Drop it KRO-GAR.

KRO-GAR:    KRO-GAR didn't drop it, Rats dropped it.
