News for November 29th, 2005

So, you see, art imitates life imitates imitates... Look if you need help in remembering what the comic is referring to, go here. As a kid I hated the movie, it was so scary and I thinking I was really too young to watch it.  Mostly it was the flying monkeys and I think my sister said they were coming to get me.  Either way, I wanted to have nothing to do with it and refused to watch the last bit for many years.

And for another miracle, I just typed the last bit without looking at the keyboard.  I can't type.  You see, I work with computers, I never learned how to type.  I am just like the car mechanic that does not race cars.  Well my hands are slightly cleaner at the end of the day and I get paid less.

In other news, the big T-Day is coming and to celebrate, we made a turkey Saturday.  I love turkey but I am afraid Nitui is going to grow feathers with another turkey meal in a few days.  Good thing I love turkey. =)

Well, no movie updates cause well...we're poor. I'd rather spend money on Harry Potter next week than on the crap that's out this week. Pretty much we've seen all that I've wanted to see that's in theatres currently.

I have been reading a fair amount though...this last week I've read most of the first book to the Wild Cards series edited by George R. R. Martin.

Also I have to say that I'm excited that ol' George has finally gotten around to finishing the 4th book in his A Song of Fire and Ice series and it hit shelves this last week. I can't wait to read A Feast for Crows. If you have not read this series do what you're doing and go to the store and buy A Game of Thrones. Yes, it's that good.

In other news Ninja and I have finally picked up our full versions of CoV. We're having fun running around with our villains...who I'm sure will make an appearance some time in the future. Hey...why are you still here reading this...I told you to go buy a book!
