News for October 18th, 2005

Greetings Citizens...Had to go cheesy super hero there for just a second.  Will we ever find out what happened to the Segway?  Who knows!  I think it's gone truthfully but Nitui is keeping up hope.

In other news, we saw Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.  I have seen a few episodes of this cartoon, but would not really consider myself a fan.

Now then, I would like to talk about the TV ads we were subjected to.  What is up with the new stuff on Cartoon Network?  Tickle U is their new toddler stuff.  I was wondering when teaching the children to make random noises was thought to be a good idea.  I understood recently that people are to talk to their children like an adult so they will develop proper speech and a decent vocabulary.  The extreme simplicity of the cartoons leaves me to wonder if they being drawn to placate an ever younger couch potato then ever before.  People, please do the world a favor and at least consider teaching your children to read and count and to go outside at least once a week prior to kindergarten.  I fear we are doomed.

It's official. I'm going to start my own business. I go down Wednesday for fill out all the paper work for a LLC. (yea me)Who knows...maybe I'll get a few large contracts and won't have to work ever again :oD Then I could maybe *gasp* draw and color some of these comics. Okay, okay ... well how about just food, rent and internet then?

I also enjoyed Wallace & Gromit and was terrified by Tickle U. I did a good job ignoring all the funny looks as we came out of the theatre sans child. I married well....I mean how many of you could take your husband to see a kid's flick and he's actually excited/not embarrassed to go?!? you guys actually read what I have to say? I mean I'm at the bottom and Ninja IS the funny one...just checking :oD I noticed in my own comic reading that I skip over what the authors have to say or if I do read it and they become boring I skip if Ninja's not entertaining does that mean I get skipped all together? (No pressure hun)
